2017-10-12

One of the world’s leading suppliers in electrical products, Mitsubishi Electric, has launched two new fridge models with 4.0 star, energy rating.

The launches arrive in Australian stores following reports that the average Australian is paying $807 more for their power than they need to, more than half of the average weekly wage. Reports also show a rising trend in energy efficiency among Australians*.

The Mitsubishi Electric LX630 and WX500 are set to be in high demand in the Australian market and showcase how the manufacturer is leading the way for energy efficiency in today’s current climate, with the new fridge models possessing stand-out features such as a power saving mode and ECO mode.

Mitsubishi Electric has also conducted local research into evolving kitchen design trends, which have led to the inclusion of stylish design elements within the premium fridge lines.

Jean-Marc Adele, Business Development Executive, Mitsubishi Electric Australia explained that insights such as an influx in modern European kitchen styles and larger sized fridge models are now at the forefront of what’s desired by most Australians today.
“We have committed our efforts to successfully deliver cutting-edge appliances designed specifically with the everyday Australian top of mind. These fridge models are the perfect example of this. Our research showed that black is proving to be the new white, so we’ve created the LX with new cutting edge, sleek colours.”

“We also found that our society is moving towards a fresher, more convenient way of life with an ever-expanding ‘home entertaining’ movement. As such, we’ve made our drawer capacity for fresh produce bigger. It can be these little things that influence the consumer’s purchasing decision,” he said.

The humble home refrigerator is now making a fashion statement, with glass door finishes, clean lines and concealed controls.

Mitsubishi Electric’s new stylish refrigerators play into this European kitchen design and home entertainment trend effortlessly, with the help of premium features such as the LX630’s slick new Argent Silver colour and French doors which open up to reveal 760 mm wide shelves - ideal for large platters and bulky items.

The luxurious design also boasts innovative technologies and functions such as soft freezing and automatic ice makers, which all deem to compliment today’s society and are relevant to the daily lives of Australians.
